At a recent Vestry meeting, discussion took place concerning the development of St. Simeon’s Church. A committee consisting of Pet Farmer, Edna Hall, Rev. Paul Tidman and Andy Mason was formed to discuss this topic further. This group has met twice and reported back to the Vestry at a meeting on Dec. 18.

The committee’s recommendation was that we meet with members of the congregation to discuss this topic. People will be asked to respond to the following 6 questions.
These questions will be used to help our understanding of the issues and hopefully to generate positive ideas as to how we, as a church, move forward.
Members of the congregation are asked to reflect on these questions as they relate to St. Simeon’s Church.
Dates and times of meetings will be announced in church and on our website www.parishoflachute.ca within the next few weeks. We encourage your participation in these discussions.
The first discussion meeting will take place on January 17, 2013 at 7:30 pm. in the church hall. The first of the three gatherings will be focusing on parishioners associated with the Alternate services.
The second meeting will be held on January 23rd at 2:00 pm in the church hall. This gathering is for the Seniors of our parish.
The third meeting will be held in the church hall on January 30th at 7:30 pm. and is for any other parishioners who were not involved in the first two meetings.
The purpose of these meeting is to provide an opportunity to express your views and your vision for St. Simeon's. The committee encourages you to attend thes important meetings.
